MASSAGES
THAI YOGA MASSAGE
Traditional Thai massage is a highly rewarding, holistic therapy that can be both relaxing and energizing, and can help relieve many common ailments. It helps to achieve and restore "balance" in the flow of energy (chi or prana) in the body. This is achieved by applying rhythmic compression to energy lines and points along with deep stretching, improving circulation throughout the body.
KRÄUTERSTEMPEL MASSAGE (Naud Prakhop)
A massage technique that uses warm herbal compresses to enhance the therapeutic effects of the massage. The compresses, also called herbal stamps, are made from a combination of herbs such as yellow ginger, lemongrass, turmeric and lime leaves and are heated before application to release the aromas and enhance the beneficial effects.
SHIROABHYANGA
The Ayurvedic head massage improves the nourishment of the senses and increases their natural functions. Using warm sesame oil and head massage technique, blood circulation to the head, neck and shoulders is increased. It is said to promote sleep, relieve tension headaches and increase concentration by improving the supply of oxygen and nutrients.
SEA SHELL MASSAGE
The South Pacific Clam Massage is a heat treatment that combines tiger clam shells with heat to promote relaxation and penetrate deep into the muscles. The combination of heat treatment, tropical oil and massage creates a deeply relaxing experience that is good for the body and soul.
MARNITZ THERAPY (deep massage)
Marnitz therapy is a deep tissue technique that is safe for people with lymphedema. By treating the entire spinal segments on the torso and key zones, Marnitz therapy can have a reflexive effect on the edematous limbs and prevent increased lymph production. Through small-area, punctual and slow friction in the deep tissue, you receive an intensive impulse. This reacts to your spinal cord and leads to a muscle-relaxing effect.
